FAQs

Please Share Details of Your Leadership
Help ALF track collaborative leadership by sharing your story. Tell who was involved, what issues were discussed, what plans were made and what goals were reached. Whether it happened yesterday or thirty years ago, your story of collaborative leadership will provide ALF with useful information and may inspire others to get started with their idea.

Types of Collaborative Leadership

Connection - Connecting resources to help fulfill a need or solve a problem.

Seeking or Receiving Guidance - Sharing your experience and guidance with others; seeking and receiving guidance or best practices from others.

Collaborative Leadership Project - Gathering of like-minded individuals to collaborate to address a problem or opportunity.

Issue Exploration Sessions
Senior Fellows wishing to create a dialogue session around a specific issue, problem or community need may ask ALF for support. ALF staff will assist you in engaging other leaders to participate in a facilitated session to explore the issue.  ALF will also help develop the session, secure a location, issue invitations and perform other functions as needed.

ALF Class XXVI is currently reviewing the idea of an annual city-wide leadership survey.  If you are interested in developing this idea, contact Harriet Wasserstrum, harriet@alfhouston.com.
