Authentic Leadership: Stress Reduction Through Mindfulness

Learn mindfulness tools to recognize, refocus, relax, and reduce stress.

Join JD Walther (Class XLVII) and Michele Pola (Class XXIV) for an experiential seminar to consider ways to reduce stress and, thus, improve leadership performance and quality of life. The why and how to reduce stress will be linked with recent science. JD & Michele will introduce methods to help a leader recognize stress and, thus, increase the likelihood of responding rather than reacting to stressful situations.

JD Walther teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), the course created by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Michele Pola teaches Mindfulness Essentials for Stress Reduction at the Houston Jung Center’s Mind, Body, Spirit Institute.

Michele & JD will be facilitating this session for our ALF community.
