The evening will feature the film premiere of “Houston Rising,” a docushort on collective efforts toward community safety. Following the film there will be a fireside chat focusing on systemic change, empowerment, and collective action, with a justice-oriented approach to addressing gender-based violence with themes of hope and healing. We will conclude with powerful poetry recitations on resilience and strength
