World Interfaith Harmony Week: Experiments with Truth

Join us for an inspiring afternoon that highlights the importance of peace, nonviolence, and interfaith harmony.

Special event at Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston in partnership with UN Interfaith Harmony Week on February 9th. This event will feature author Joseph Newland, who will discuss his insightful book Gandhi And Images of Nonviolence; published by The Menil Collection.

During this event, Joseph Newland will explore how Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings of nonviolence have influenced not only global movements but also shaped interfaith dialogue and cooperation across cultures through museum exhibitions. His book delves into the visual representations and cultural understandings of Gandhi’s principles, making it a valuable conversation for those interested in peace, social justice, and interfaith relations.
