DESCRIPTION:From Aspiration to Impact: Can we really make a difference?\n\n\n\nJoin us Friday April 8 for an interactive conversation with Greater Houston Partnership’s  LaTanya Flix\, one of our city’s champions for creating a new paradigm to advance equity and inclusion. She is an organizational development and change management practitioner and will offer a roadmap to help you lead from your seat and create better outcomes. LaTanya will discuss how inclusion fuels innovation and essential evidenced-based practices to advance equity and inclusion. She will also highlight key insights from our region’s first Equity & Inclusion Assessment and share how you can leverage the data to drive action. \n LaTanya Flix is Senior Vice President of Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for the Greater Houston Partnership\, the Houston region’s principal business organization. In this role\, she oversees internal DEI learning and development and leads One Houston Together – a data-driven effort of 100+ businesses\, institutions\, and nonprofit organizations to advance people of color into senior management roles\, increase racial diversity on corporate boards\, and grow spending with Minority Business Enterprises. Prior to joining the Partnership\, LaTanya held a variety of senior leadership roles in community development\, philanthropy\, and civic engagement. She is a sought after speaker and facilitator founder of CauseAdvance\, a social change consultancy. \n  \n \nSpecial thanks to Houston Methodist for Underwriting this month’s breakfast.
