Develop Leaders Throughout Their Leadership Journey

Our leaders’ journey does not end at the conclusion of the Fellows Program. Instead, it marks the beginning of a lifelong leadership practice that transcends job titles or roles. At ALF, we are committed to supporting our Senior Fellows to be change makers and participate in more civic engagement. We plan to accomplish this by strengthening our Fellows Program and creating more comprehensive Senior Fellow programming.

Enable Leaders to Connect Throughout the ALF Network

Our Senior Fellows belong to something bigger than the Fellows class they were a part of. We are launching ALF Connect to enable our leaders to leverage their social and relational capital, as well as the ALF network at large, to advance our community’s most pressing issues. We are also opening our Leadership Hub, Houston’s living room for dialogue, collaboration and connection. By empowering Senior Fellows with the platform and an inspiring environment, we are confident that natural synergies and collaborations will occur.

Activate Houston’s Brain Trust in Service to the Community Good

ALF’s network of civic leaders is recognized state-wide and serves as a valuable resource for advancing our region’s most pressing issues. Our goal is to continue to bring awareness of ALF to the community by developing more community programs and services accessible to a broader audience. Through these efforts, we strive to make an even greater impact on the community by leveraging our leaders’ brain trust and growth mindset.
